Indian Pass Raw Bar Uptown

Hands down the best oysters in the panhandle! I like them grilled or baked. Also love the shrimp, grilled snapper, and side dishes. Service was excellent and attentive! Will always come and visit when the family has an appetite for fresh oysters.

This place has great fish dip and really good shrimp! The best part about the restaurant, however, is the self service beer and drink cooler. There is a large gas station style beer and beverage cooler at the back of the restaurant where you just go up and grab your out beer. They have a wide selection of local and nationwide brews. They also have several on draft. They also have wine and non-alcoholic drinks. Once you pick your beverage of choice you just mark it down on your score card which is how they keep track of how many you had. Its all on the honor system

Nice people here. Toya had been or waitress for a couple years and she is amazing. We have had other staff wait on us and they are good too!!! Food is good!!

Oysters were good. But they had a limited menu. Staff was friendly

Hubby and I went in on 12/14/2019 Cheyenne served us if you can call it service. We order the exact same sandwich, she asked if we wanted kettle chips or French fries, he chose chips and I chose fries. When we were done, I had to go up to the hostess stand to get the check, then I was only told the amount and my credit card was run, tip included, never being given a bill. I had to ask for a bill with the breakdown. Much to my surprise, I had been charged $3.00 for the French fires, while hubby’s kettle chips were included with the sandwich, which is how she made it appear when we ordered, that chips or fries came with the sandwich. How tacky to charge a separate fee for French fries with a sandwich, and even tackier to make it appear included and not inform the customer. We will never go back and recommend others do not go as well.

Great Food Friendly Service! The Uptown Country Boil was Amazing and so was the Seafood Sampler!

This place is awesome!! The original has a different feel, but in Port St Joe, a great stop. The baked oysters with cheese, jalapeño and bacon... wow! Followed up by the low country boil with new potatoes, shrimp, sausage and corn. Amazing. The draft beer from Oyster City (yummy Hooter Brown!) was a nice touch along the way. Finally.!.!.! ... Topped things off with key lime pie. We got home just in time to lapse into a food coma!!

Awesome place to eat seafood, had the mahi plate with potatoes and corn on the cob, fantastic!

Our waitress was not attentive (to put it politely). We didn't get our food at the same time and some of our food was burnt. What wasn't burnt was just okay. I didn't feel like I got a good value for our money. Unfortunately, this place did not live up to its reputation. Also, you get your own drinks from a cooler. Non alcoholic drinks are $2 and you do not get refills. Some people may not mind this but I prefer to have my drink come out of a fountain with free refills.

Wow! Ate there last night after being gone for the summer! Ordered the Corn and Crab Chowder... IT WAS AWFUL! I have LOVED IT in the past, but there was no sign of corn or crab just a runny broth!!! UGH!!!

Great place to eat the service was slow at first some workers didn't show up for work. But was very much worth the wait!!!!! Got to say a great thank you the the cook! His co worker showed up late. He was working like clockwork!!!! We will definitely be back!!!

The food was very good as always but the lady checking us out at the register was very rude to many individuals of our group. Some ended up paying more than they got. She needs to learn customer service.

Finally made it and it was good. Cant wait till the old place opens again.

Food was tasty and we'll priced. Excellent house salad and ranch. Self serve drinks was new but good. Service was friendly but left a lot to desire. Our waitress served large party first that arrived after, got my entree wrong and forgot my co-diner's soup.

The overall experience was good. The raw oysters were amazing and the best part. The serving sizes were very small for the price. The honor system for drinks was fun. The atmosphere was fun but if you’re hungry don’t expect a plate full.

The original Indian Raw Bar was Destroyed in the hurricane. The atmosphere of the Uptown Indian pass Raw Bar was that of an industrial feel. Very clean, food was very good, the stuffed shrimp was amazing. Their pulled pork sandwich is barbecue sauce was awesome. However they are baked oysters good just tell him not to put oregano on the top. It made them taste a little Woody and greedy at the same time. You can buy shirts sauces and food to go. Really enjoyed will be back.

Actually 4 1/2 stars. Very quaint. They take your order, someone brings your food, and you help yourself to drinks. ALL drinks! Beer, wine coolers, soda, water! Very fast great food.

One of my favorite restaurants in Port St. Joe. Great selection of craft beers on draft. We ordered smoked fish dip, steam shrimp and mahi sandwich. The smoked fish dip is always on point and perfectly seasoned. The steamed shrimps are large and seasoned with either cajun or bay seasoning. The grilled mahi sandwich has a thick slab of fresh mahi mahi and perfectly cooked and juicy. We try to go here at least 2 times during our vacation.

We're looking forward to the original restaurant opening back up. Always a great time.

The menu was basic but food was yummy. I had the seafood sampler and my husband had the stuffed shrimp. We loved the serve yourself bar. Next time though I'll be sure to leave my little kids at home.

We had raw oysters, chowder and a burger. All was yummy. Love the honor system with drinks! Very friendly and quite busy. 👍🏻😊

Good food, just a bit confusing as far as whether we were supposed to serve ourselves drinks from a cooler & notate it on a little tab at the table, or just order the drink at the bar. Still not sure. Attractive, industrial look with concrete floor. It was quite cold when we visited at New Year's, so the chilly setting wasn't as welcome as it might have been in hotter weather. Would definitely try it again.

My goodness the stuffed shrimp! The crab legs, the peel and eat shrimp all winners. The second location is nice and in a great location. Service was good and it fills quickly so be prepared to wait, even at lunch especially in the summer. Love this place!

Raw oysters were pretty good, maui was very good, smoked fish dip appetizer was excellent.

Great fresh seafood and other options available. Prices are very reasonable and quality of food excellent. Our party had 6 people and our bill was less than $100 including drinks and appetizers. The fresh oysters and Mahi mahi are great. Service is great and employee's are very friendly. Parking is free and convenient. Expect a wait especially for dinner and weekends.

Food is always fantastic, we enjoy the convenience of the self-serve beer on tap. Grilled shrimp and fish tacos were superb. Oh yeah, oysters!

Sat down at the bar with my family, was impressed with every single item of food I saw prepared ahead of even eating something. All of the seafood looked fresh and very well prepared. Then my Mahi sandwich arrived – it was amazing, I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Fries were perfect and just how I like them, very crispy and well cooked. Highly recommend visiting this spot for lunch.

Great great food. Raw bar is excellent. I had the surf and turf skewers. They were fantastic. Steak was cooked perfectly and super tender. The shrimps were seasoned great and fantastic as well.

I was reluctant about dining at the Uptown location. I had always enjoyed the feel and genuineness of the Indian Pass location. I didn’t think the food would taste the same in an Uptown setting. Boy was I wrong. The food was fabulous. If you are having second thoughts about this location do yourself a favor and go. It really is great food!

Food was great! The raw oysters were nice size and appeared to be fresh. They have an honor system in which you can get your own beer when you're ready from a commercial refrigerator in the back. Loved it!

Great service even on a super busy night and excellent oysters and gumbo. We were able to grab a couple of beers while we waited for our table and we got to enjoy the atmosphere for a bit. We will be back to this spot!
